A little bit about me.
I moved to the Tri-Cities from Vancouver, WA in 2018, and became the Office Administrator here at Desert Canyon Mortgage shortly afterwards. Since I have a science degree and was previously working as a veterinary assistant, coming to the lending industry was a big change at first! However, I quickly realized that I had found a career that I loved and was working for a company that felt like family. In the last few years at Desert Canyon, I’ve become a loan processor, obtained my loan originator license, and am now a loan officer assistant.
Favorite things to do outside of work: I love to spend quality time with my husband, two young children, and two dogs. Some of our favorite activities are taking walks along the river, hanging out in our backyard, visiting the library, playing tennis or pickleball, and having family movie nights. I also love to practice yoga and read, especially fantasy books!
Two of my most important core values are integrity and dependability. To me, integrity means always choosing to do what’s right, and always doing the best that I can. I put my full effort into everything that I do, at work and at home. I aim to be someone that my coworkers, family, and friends can rely and depend on in any situation.
I am very attentive to detail, which helps me make sure nothing is missed during the nitty-gritty parts of the home loan process that take place behind the scenes. I also love to problem-solve and help clients with unique challenges get into their dream homes!
For me, the best thing about living in the Tri-Cities is the sunshine! It’s wonderful to enjoy the weather at a local winery like Badger Mountain or Longship Cellars. I also love being able to grab dinner at Stick & Stone and follow it up with WeIce on a beautiful summer evening.
