How the Homebuying Process Works
The homebuying process may seem confusing with the infinite number of resources, guides, and people telling what you should and shouldn’t do when buying a home. To make it easier, we have designed this simple 9-step homebuying roadmap to get you on the right path!
Brainstorm your goals and needs, review your financials, and determine what a comfortable monthly payment looks like for you.
Schedule an appointment with us so we can help you start the process and see how much home you can afford.
This is the fun part! Work with your realtor to find a home that you love and write an offer.
Your realtor will help you arrange an inspection to check for structural damage and necessary repairs.
Start the Loan
We will work with you to find the best product and rate and gather any additional documents needed for underwriting.
The appraisal will be ordered to ensure the property is up to safety standards and that you are paying a fair price for the home.
We will work with the underwriters through the approval process until we get to closing. Some additional documentation may be needed from you.
You will sign final documents at the title company, the loan will record with the county, and you’ll officially be a homeowner!
