Personal Background

I grew up in Northern Wisconsin and moved to the Tri-Cities in 2015. I'm a proud husband, father of adorable twin boys, and avid sports fan. My wife and I built our current home in Kennewick, and love the area. We enjoy being close to wonderful restaurants, beautiful wineries, and amazing neighbors.

How long have you been in the mortgage business?

I have more than 11 years of finance experience. I have also had the distinct opportunity to originate mortgage loans in multiple states and lending environments. I began my career with an online mortgage lender near Sacramento, California, where I was a President’s Club level mortgage loan originator, before being recruited and moving to the Tri-Cities to originate home loans with a big box bank.

Finally, I was introduced to Desert Canyon Mortgage through Jim and Lisa Pogue. The ability to better serve my clients attracted me to the company instantly, which convinced me to make the transition at the end of 2015, and I couldn’t be happier! My years of diverse mortgage lending experience allow me to offer a unique perspective to my clients.

What's the best thing about your job?

I became a mortgage loan originator to merge my passion for helping people with my analytical, data-focused, nature. It is always my goal to help clients determine the direction that will not only accomplish their short-term home purchase and refinance goals, but truly educate them about their options to set them up for long-term financial success. Succeeding in this endeavor is the most rewarding part of my job

A Word From My Clients

"Joshua and his team are incredible to work with. My husband and I were approved and cleared to close in record breaking time. We saved a lot in closing costs as well. Joshua explained everything and always worked very hard to make sure we had the best outcome. He was accommodating to our schedule and needs. He made us feel so welcomed and comfortable through the whole process. If you are looking to purchase a home, I highly recommend Joshua. Best around. Thanks for all your hard work!"
